Lucas is an amazing young man.  He has a insightfull perspective that leads to clever observations that he has no hesitation sharing with his sharp wit. 

He is a scout, chief editor of the newspaper, project 351 ambassador, yearbook team member, additionally both a band and jazz band member. Lucas loves exploring the world and participating in Model United Nations. 

He plans to graduate from Highschool with a bilingual seal in German.

While these things are very admirable what his parents appreciate most about him is the way he befriends others and express genuine care and compassion. Lucas cares deeply about others. He has a growing faith that is strengthened by asking hard questions and then questioning the answers.
